MAYFEST 2025 WAS A HUGE SUCCESS. WE HAD A BLAST!
Central Alabama Aging Consortium hosted nearly 600 senior citizens for our annual Mayfest party honoring Older Americans Act, which is 60 years old in 2025. Our Elite Sponsor ArchWell Health helped us put on the biggest party ever. Our theme was the Derby. We were at Garrett Coliseum and as usual our seniors partied hard! Dancing, games, food…it was all there. The highlight was two horse races with pretend horses and real jockeys. Make sure you check out our horse race video on this page. Our thanks to our corporate sponsors, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, the Alabama Office of Minority Affairs and Tuscaloosa Supply Company, Inc. They along with our exhibitors provided our seniors with the latest information on programs just for them, plus sacks full of goodies. Mayfest 2026 promises to rival 2025. We are already planning!
